Our client, a thriving, well established law firm located in the north west end of the city, is growing! They are looking for a Law Clerk to join its team.
3-5 years of experience related to freehold subdivision and condominium projects, and land development matters is a necessity for being considered for this role.
Job Responsibilities and Duties include :
Prepare and draft correspondence Interact with clients related to development matters Experience with reporting letters, statements of account and bank reports on title Strong working knowledge and ability to complete title searches, writ searches, registering and preparing deeds, requisitions, charges and discharges Prepare monthly pre-bills Administrative support, including opening and closing files and docketing
Job Skills Required :
A law clerk diploma or demonstrable experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Decisiveness and ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal direction / supervision Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate / multi-task multiple files and closings Able to work independently as well as actively participate as part of a team Experience working with Teraview (minimum 1 year) is required and experience working with Lawyer Done Deal would be considered an asset
