Description
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar equipment along with other mechanical equipment
- Assist with a variety of shop repairs and diagnostics as required
- Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
- Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
- Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team
- Work with the Service Supervisor on various tasks as required
Qualifications :
- Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
- 3rd and 4th year HET apprentices may be considered based on skills
- Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Drivers license and drivers abstract required
Note :
- This position is based out of our Grande Prairie TCRS facility, on a 5x2 schedule
- Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
- Union Membership : You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay.
