Duringyour internship you will be involved or oversee duties usuallyigned to a Project Manager. You will ist the Project Manager invarious tasks pertaining to the job site including planningorganizing and supporting project works;

from negotiations withsuppliers and subcontractors to providing support with work ods.You will also develop and suggest improvements to design standardsadvise and solve complex design and engineering issues onsite.

Responsibilities

• Monitorworks daily through the technical and administrative tasks igned toyou.
• Plan and oversee workscoordination with foremen surveyors superintendents engineersproject managers andsubcontractors.
• Prepare and followup on technical issues in plans andspecifications.
• Prepare monitor yseand manage subcontractorfiles.
• Contribute to contractnegotiations whennecessary.
• Contribute to projectscheduling.
• Obtain permits andauthorizations required to carry outwork.
• Plan and check material ordersas needed.
• Followup on"Conflict detection" when the project is executedin BIM.
• ist review and communicatetechnical questions and change requests to the customerrepresentative and followup whenrequired.
• Plan supervise andcontribute to the development of appropriate construction ods andprocesses per contractual requirements while respecting currenthealth and safetyrequirements.
• Participate in sitemeetings with various projectstakeholders.
• Follow up and managedeficiencies at the end of theproject.
• Contribute to trafficmanagement whenrequired.

Requirements

Profil

• Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering inprogress.
• Relevant experience inengineering or construction is an importantet.
• A drivers license and / or abilityto travel may be required in somecases.
• Agrees to work 8 months onsite (CambellRiver)
