Brandt is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Underground & Tree Care Products for our St-Augustin and Construction & Forestry location.
The Territory Manager role will drive sales of Ditch Witch trenchers / plows, mini-skid steers, vac trailers and directional drills, along with Morbark brush chippers and Rayco stump grinders, and / or other material Underground & Tree Care products in your assigned territory.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesSell both new and used Underground & Tree Care equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
Travel across entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by : Growing our share of our existing customer base's wallet spendAcquiring new customersIdentifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth planBuilding relationshipsKeep current on customers' business activities and needs.
Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to) : Sales call activitiesCustomer Lists (both current and prospect accounts) Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.Other projects / duties as required.Required SkillsEnthusiastic, energetic, and goal driven.
Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.Must be familiar with the trenching / plowing / drilling and / or tree care industry, having spent some time working in or servicing it.
Excellent verbal and written communications.Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.Must be able to travel throughout the assigned area of responsibility (AOR).
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license (a recent driver's abstract will be required).Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
