The Distribution account manager is Nexperia’s main interface to the customers in Distribution. He / she is responsible to determine the account strategy and concert all associated initiatives within Nexperia.

This position is essential to enhance our leading market position with Distribution and to deliver upon Nexperia’s global growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities :

Responsible for developing and executing strategies and programs with our accounts at both, headquarters and branches, to maximize Nexperia sales and profit.

Taking ownership for relevant KPI’s and driving corrective actions if required.

  • Understanding the account’s business strategy, opportunities and issues. Identifying opportunities for Nexperia based on this and helping to tailor the Nexperia value propositions specifically for your account.
  • Promote Nexperia’s portfolio and value proposition to our accounts and top end customers in cooperation with the field sales team.
  • Understanding formal & informal hierarchy, identifying decision makers at customer and establishing and developing suitable relationship strategies to improve Nexperia's position at the account
  • Through understanding of the balance of power and relationships, create and successfully execute suitable negotiation strategy and tactics (done throughout the year) in cooperation with the commercial marketing team.
  • Representing and conveying the accounts needs internally at Nexperia, and ensuring adequate priorities are set in order to execute against strategy.
  • Effective monitoring of logistic / quality performance and -if required- delegation of issues to the relevant stakeholders within Nexperia.
  • Ensuring that all key internal systems and processes are timely updated with accurate information
  • Consolidating the above in a customer business plan clearly communicating expectation and requirements towards Nexperia to meet business targets.
  • Gathering and communicating market / competitor information into the organization

Skills / Competencies

  • BS / MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales / marketing within semiconductor distribution
  • Proven track record in Distribution business and established network at headquarters and branches
  • Strong Computer skills - MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant system
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English
  • Strong, confident and clear communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, result oriented, customer focused
  • Build and maintain relationships at Distributors
  • Willing to travel frequently
  • High dependability, be there to support the business.
  • Self-driven and ambitious to drive projects.
  • Team mentality, hands-on mentality, and service-oriented mindset
  • Result-oriented and analytical skill set
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Sound understanding of (Semiconductor) and Distribution related business processes and programs and ability to define and drive processes and programs
  • Willingness to take over global tasks / projects.
