Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Developer Consultant to join their team for an immediate project.
This role involves designing and integrating SAP UX solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and enhancing application functionality.
The position is fully remote and candidates can be based anywhere in Canada.
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile, Fiori, and web applications using SAP UI5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to deliver user-friendly interfaces.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional SAP UX solutions.
- Integrate SAP Business APIs with SAP UX solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience.
- Apply Design Thinking methodologies to create user-centric designs and innovative solutions that meet client needs.
- Develop applications and extensions tailored to client requirements using SAP Build Code.
- Explore and implement Generative AI-based code development tools, such as Joule copilot, to enhance development efficiency and code quality.
- Participate in the development of Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and RESTful Application Programming (RAP) when necessary, ensuring robust application architecture.
- Leverage ABAP development skills for backend integration and custom enhancements, ensuring seamless functionality across the SAP ecosystem.
- Utilize prototyping tools to create application prototypes, gather user feedback, and iteratively improve application designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of SAP Business solutions, including SAP ECC and SAP S / 4 HANA.
- Strong expertise in development tools such as CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and SAP UI5. Familiarity with ABAP is a plus.
- Experience applying Design Thinking and agile methodologies in software development.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools for code development and efficiency improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
