Bilingual Occupational Therapist (remote)

TELUS Health is seeking a certified Occupational Therapist to provide expert therapy services aimed at removing work-related barriers for Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) employees.

As an Occupational Therapist Contractor, you will collaborate with ESDC to recommend workplace accommodations that address employees' functional limitations and promote their physical and psychological well-being in the workplace.

What You’ll Do :

• Review de-identified documentation provided by ESDC;
• Participate in virtual discussions with employees, managers, and ESDC specialists;
• Provide clarity on employees' functional limitations and recommend appropriate workplace accommodations;
• Report recommendations in a de-identified manner;
• Collaborate with ESDC to implement recommended accommodations.

Requirements :

• Valid, non-restricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Canada;
• Fluency in English and French;
• Ability to work virtually within Canada's time zones and ESDC's core business hours;
• Access to a private office and headsets for maintaining confidentiality.
• Compliance with ESDC's privacy and security protocols.

Qualifications :

• Certified Occupational Therapist with expertise in recommending workplace accommodations;
• Sensitivity to diverse employee needs, including physical, psychological, and social aspects;
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with employees and stakeholders;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Commitment to upholding privacy and confidentiality standards.

Scheduling :

4-8 hours a week. Flexible scheduling based on a case-by-case basis.
