Job Description
ADGA Group Consultants Inc. is hiring a Senior Information Management Architect exciting new opportunity!
Supporting an IT Transformation Plan for the Government of Canada. The IT transformation plan is a roadmap to modernize the Government of Canada’s IT infrastructure and delivery of IT services.
The consultant will be involved in email, data centers, network, 24 / 7 / 365 cybersecurity protection, and workplace technology device services to departments and agencies in a consolidated and standardized manner to support the delivery of Government of Canada programs and services.
Job Tasks :
Analyze existing capabilities and requirements, develop redesigned frameworks and recommend areas for improved capability and integration.
Develop and document detailed statements of requirements
- Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document database content, structure, and application subsystems, and develop data dictionary
- Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems
- Prototype potential solutions provide tradeoff information and suggest recommended courses of action
- Perform information modelling in support of BPR implementation
- Perform cost / benefit analysis of implementing new processes and solutions
- Provide advice in developing and integrating process and information models between business processes to eliminate information and process redundancies.
- Provide advice in defining new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions; identify and provide preliminary costs of potential options.
- Coach, mentor, work collaboratively and train the organization to perform any of the above
Job Requirements : Qualifications
Qualifications
- A minimum of a three-year college diploma(computer science or other IT-related field; OR a university degree at the Bachelor's level in Information Technology (computer science or engineering) or other IT-related field
- A minimum of ten years of work experience in the IT field.
- Must hold a valid Secret Clearance at the level requested issued by PWGSC-CISD
- Experience working in a multi-government stakeholder environment including all of the following :
- Multi-vendor
- Multi-client
- Multi-end user / groups / organizations
- Experience working on large transformation projects
- Experience communicating and providing advice to senior executives (director level and higher)
- Experience working on a Microsoft Office 365 initiative.
- Experience working on a project with a value of over $50M
- Experience developing presentation materials, strategic models, and governance reports at the executive level for multiple stakeholders.
