Reporting to the Zoes General Managerresponsibilities and essential job functions include but are notlimited to the following :
- Leads theBartending Team (including the Service Bar) in always performing atthe highest standards.
- Consistently offerprofessional friendly and engagingservice.
- Assists guests regarding all beveragemenu items in an informative and helpfulway.
- Mix drinks and participate in inventorycontrol measures.
- Participates in the creationof new drinks and sales strategy.
- Responsiblefor making sure service to Guests is delivered in accordance withFairmont / LQA Standards at alltimes.
- Responsible for training of newColleagues and ongoing training of allColleagues.
- Manage billing according toprocedures and responsible for carrying pettycash.
- In charge of reporting any maintenance ofthe workplace needed and of its adjacent areas on a dailybasis.
- In charge of reporting any maintenanceneeds of tools and equipments and responsible for the rotation ofproducts.
- In charge of necessary ingredientspreparation syrups and infusion.
- Bean Ambassador of the Brand and maintain a professional and neatappearance.
- Represents and performs Appearanceson TV & Social Medias when required by theHotel.
- Follow outlets policies andprocedures.
- Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies when handling food andbeverage.
- Always have full knowledge ofbeverage lists and promotions.
- Always have fullknowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparationmethods.
- Other duties asassigned
Qualifications :
- Must have aminimum of 1 year of experience as a Head Bartender in a cocktaillounge / bar or similar experience.
- Must haveexperience crafting custom cocktaillists.
- Excellent knowledge of alcohol mixologyand liquor.
- Previous point of sale systemexperience.
- Excellent communication andorganizational skills.
- Have full knowledge ofmixology technics such as shake hard shake Cuban rolletc.)
- Have full knowledge of classic cocktails(80 classics cocktails from the International BarAssociation).
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities.
- Highly responsible &reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressurein a fast paced environment.
- Ability to workcohesively with Colleagues as part of ateam.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needsremaining calm and courteous at alltimes.
- Smart Serve Certificationrequired.
- Passing grade on mixology recruitingexam.
- Active participation in local andinternational mixology contests anasset.
