Reporting to the President, the Director of Finance will be responsible for leading the finance function across multiple locations, as well as being a strategic business partner to senior leadership.
This position is ideal for collaborative finance professionals who thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial setting! This is a hybrid position based in Vaughan.
Travel will be required to various business locations across the GTA as well as occasional travel to Western Canada.

Responsibilities :
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Lead and present financial results in all monthly management meetings
- Initiate and maintain regular communication with inter-department leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration between finance and operations teams
- Support President with financial analysis to support effective decision-making
- Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize EBITDA through cost optimization, operational efficiencies and identifying revenue growth opportunities
- Oversight and accountability for successful implementation of accounting and operations software projects
- Lead on all tax and audit engagements with third-party advisors
- Lead implementation of Key Performance Indicators, tracking mechanisms, annual budgets and business plans
- Recruit and actively contribute to the development of the finance and accounting team
- Additional responsibilities and projects as required
- This position requires travel to business locations within the GTA as well as Western Canada to liaise with finance team as well as business leaders
Qualifications :
- CPA and / or MBA coupled with 15+ years of progressive experience at the senior management level
- Previous experience operating in a Finance Business Partner capacity, collaborating with management teams and supporting decisions with analytics and key data is required
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this position
- Candidates must exhibit personal drive, energy, and the ability to work effectively in a hands-on action-oriented environment
- Exceptional time management experience with proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines without losing site of priorities
- Previous experience with multiple entity organizations is highly preferred
- Experience with M&A is an asset
