ca / careers.This Opportunity : We are currently looking to fill 2 Permanent Full-Time roles of Life Skills Support Worker (known internally as a Rehabilitation Worker) in the Bridgewater area of Winnipeg.

Starting wage is $22.97 with annual increases. Benefits : Dental Care and Extended Health CarePension PlanPaid Sick / Wellness daysEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Mileage Paid Training Roles and responsibilities : Current position is primarily weekday shifts, does include a weekend per monthReporting responsibilities (incident reports, behavioural data collection and verbal reports)Participate in any required trainingFollow policies and procedures as requiredProvide one to one support and group support within the home and community to adults with disabilities with activities of daily living, personal care, and rehabilitation planning.

Communicate with client, family, and team members.Compensated On-Call Duties on rotational basis.Performs duties in a professional manner, which respects the dignity and right to privacy and maintains client and staff health and safety.

Qualifications and experience : Proven consistency in work performance, including reliability and flexibilityExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skillsSound behavioural management skills and problem-solving skills.
