The Lean Six Sigma Program Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence by spearheading Six Sigma and Lean initiatives throughout the organization.
This position demands a deep understanding of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, advanced project management skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, implement best practices, and ensure successful project delivery within established timelines and scope.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Six Sigma Plus Leadership :
- Lead, manage, and oversee Six Sigma plus projects, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify) methodologies.
- Mentor and coach Lean and Green Belts, providing guidance on Six Sigma Plus tools and techniques.
- Establish a framework for continuous improvement and innovation across departments.
2. Project Management :
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project performance, manage timelines, proactively identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure successful project completion, keeping initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
3. Process Improvement :
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings using Six Sigma and Lean principles.
- Facilitate process and value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and solution development to address identified issues.
4. Data Analysis :
- Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven approaches to assess process performance and drive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Six Sigma projects and initiatives.
5. Stakeholder Engagement :
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align Six Sigma Plus initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
- Communicate project status, results, and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
6. Training and Development :
- Design and deliver Six Sigma Plus training programs to build organizational capability and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, incorporating new techniques to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications :
Education / Certification :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification is required
Experience :
- Proven experience in managing Six Sigma plus projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills with experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- ERP implementation experience is a strong asset
