Our client is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance / GroundsMaintenance Professional to oversee maintenance and repair programs for theirseniors’ care home located in Red Deer County, Alberta.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Manage maintenance and repairs for buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform and supervise tasks like carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Handle specialized cleaning and maintenance, including high-altitude tasks.
Qualifications :
- Musthave : Valid Building Operator A or B or New 5thClass Certificate, with at least three years of relevant experience.
- Ability to readblueprints and knowledge of local building codes.
- Proficiency withtools and equipment for various maintenance tasks.
- Excellentcommunication, organizational skills, and emotional stability.
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions and perform heavy lifting.
