As per the CanadaOntario CanadaWide EarlyLearning and Child Care (CWELCC) Agreement Ontario is committed toenhance its existing data collection tools to support reporting tothe federal government on key indicators associated with a CWELCCsystem.
The Child Care and Early Years (CCEY) IT modernizationinitiative is focused on developing a new and modernized ITsolution and related business processes to support the child careand early years sector including families child care and earlyyears operators and service system managers (SSMs) across Ontario.
The CCEY Alpha phase will provide the required activities needed toprogress the user research discovery findings user service designdeliverables andprototypes.
Description
Responsibilities :
Create effective user friendly and visuallyappealing interfaces. Design the overall functionality of theproduct in order to ensure a great user experience iterate upon itin accordance with usertesting.
Design user interfaces for variousprojects such as digital displays publications media and othercreative materials as required.
Take a usercentered design approachand rapidly test and iterate the designs. Conceive and conduct userresearch interviews and surveys and translating them into sitemapsuser flows customer journey maps wireframes mockups and prototypesGeneral Skills : Relevant experience creating GUI designs based onuser interaction and performance Experience as a UX designerinteractive designer UI designer or similar role designing for weband mobile applications Proficiency with design and prototypingtools Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate useof web development technologies Experience in designing onlineprograms with emphasis in the emotional aspects of human experienceExperience conceiving and conducting user research interviews andsurveys and translating them into sitemaps user flows user journeymaps wireframes mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive userexperiences Experience designing the overall functionality of theproduct and in order to ensure a great user experience iterate uponit in accordance with usertesting Experience designing anddelivering wireframes user stories user flows user journeys mockupsand prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfacesExperience facilitating the clients product vision by researchingconceiving sketching prototyping and usertesting experiences fordigital products and optimized for a wide range of devices andinterfaces Experience identifying design problems and devisingelegant solutions Experience making strategic design anduserexperience decisions related to core and new functions andfeatures Experience gathering user feedback to configure existinginterfaces A team player with a track record for meeting deadlinesmanaging competing priorities and client relationship managementexperience Desirable Skills : Knowledge of network security andnetwork protocolsSkillsExperience and Skill SetRequirements
