Anexciting contract opportunity has arisen for a Crane MaintenanceSupervisor French Speaking (expat) in CongoAfrica for our client.
The Supervisor positionwill lead the execution in conjunction with offshore support forall aspects of crane maintenance and inspection work complete thework site documentation in line with the procedures and work packensure all documents are correctly filled out and signed for jobcompletion.
Requirements
Provide clientsupport and leadership onsite via a detailed technicalunderstanding of Cranes.
Responsible for the safe andproductive running of the shift. (offshore)
Focal point for QHSE relatedmatters on the project at shift level reporting to the ContractManager asrequired.
Ensure allscheduled and unscheduled maintenance programs and practices arefollowed to ensure maximum uptime for all equipment.
Workshop based duties whichinclude assisting with equipment function testing and maintenancewhen required.
Supporting the ProjectEngineer in the smooth running of the project by reporting anyequipment and or client issues in an appropriate and timelymanner.
Records and isresponsible for all shift paperwork and client SAP system updatingon site for supply to client rep and for return to office.
Qualificationsand Experience :
Essential :
Basic secondaryeducation
French& English speaking (good written and vocabulary).
Relevant offshore industryexperience.
Previousexperience in a supervisor role.
Competent with CraneMaintenance and inspections.
Able to understandMaintenance drawings / Hydraulic drawings / Isometric drawings.
Ability to compile andcomplete technical maintenance procedures.
Basic IT Skills Word Excel.
Preferred :
College Diplomaor higher
Desire toincrease technical and management skills.
Offshore experience.
SAP system knowledge.
