What We’re Looking For :

We are looking for a business savvy, customer-centric self-starter who is motivated by the opportunity to create visually stunning displays that captivate our discerning clientele.

Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, the Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring the product assortment and inventory plans meet customer expectations while aligning with business objectives.

This role is a key player in providing data-driven insights, managing inventory, and planning product displays to drive overall business performance.

What You'll Do :

  • Visual Merchandising : Design and implement eye-catching merchandise displays that align with our brand’s luxury aesthetic and enhance the shopping experience
  • Product Placement : Strategically place wine and merchandise to optimize sales and highlight key items, ensuring a cohesive and appealing presentation
  • Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Guest Experience team to ensure that stock is displayed effectively and replenished in a timely manner
  • Trend Analysis : Stay abreast of current market trends and incorporate them into merchandising strategies to keep our store at the forefront of style and innovation
  • Customer Engagement : Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and anticipating the needs of our high-end clientele and offering personalized recommendations
  • Collaborative Spirit : Work closely with Guest Experience and Brand Marketing teams to execute promotional events and seasonal displays

What You Bring to the Team :

  • 5+ years of experience in a retail environment, including a background as a buyer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a high-growth retail environment
  • Strong retail acumen with demonstrated skills in forecasting, promotions, selling, and inventory management
  • Track record of successful assortment and inventory planning to optimize store performance
  • High level of creativity with a keen eye for unique and rare items
  • Exceptional ability to tell a compelling story through the shopping experience

What We Offer :

  • The typical hiring range for this position is from $60,000 - $68,000 CAD annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
