BFL CANADA is looking for a Marketer in Real Estate for its Vancouver or Langley Office!

As a member of our Real Estate division, you will be responsible for providing exemplary service to the Production Team by building and fostering strong relationships with Insurers, and other industry service providers, to deliver competitive terms with regards to the BFL National Residential Program.

Your day as a New Business Marketer

Markets business (Strata's / Condos) by developing and fostering excellent relationships with Insurers to ensure negotiation of best competitive terms to clients.

Includes ongoing endorsement requests and mid-term marketing when necessary).

  • Works with new and existing insurers to negotiates the rate and deductibles.
  • Strong Underwriting Ability using in-house contracts for the Strata / Condo Program.
  • Liaises with Client Executives to discuss clients' needs and make recommendations regarding terms and conditions obtained.
  • Assist with developing innovative marketing process for large portfolio renewals
  • Keeps current on new products, coverage and market trends by attending seminars and reading relevant written material
  • Attends Insurer and Industry functions as required
  • Follows BFL policies and procedures, including security and quality procedures, as set out currently and as amended from time to time
  • Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required

Our ideal candidate

  • Minimum 3-5 years industry related experience
  • University degree or Professional insurance designation (CIP,CAIB,CRM) preferred

or relevant work experience)

  • Level 2 License
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in time management
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer focused and sales orientated
  • Energetic and flexible
  • Ability to work well and independently
  • Ability to work as part of a team and with others throughout the organization.

The expected salary for this role ranges from $55,000 to $95,000. Annual salary will be determined by factors including prior experience, location, business segment, and relevance of the candidate's skills to the role.
