Job Title : 310T Mechanic
Location : Aurora, ON
Wage : $39 per hour + shift premium : $5 per hour
Shift Options :
- Monday 17 : 30 to 04 : 00
- Tuesday 18 : 00 to 04 : 00
- Wednesday 18 : 00 to 04 : 00
- Thursday 18 : 00 to 04 : 00
- Friday 16 : 00 to 22 : 00
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Use vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes for repairs.
- Complete all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to emergency breakdowns with service calls.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, documenting parts usage, and tracking repair times.
- Review and address repairs noted in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive, truck, or light / heavy equipment maintenance and repair, or completion of a vocational-technical school program.
- Must hold a valid 310T license.
- Valid driver’s license required.
