Summary Assist foreman with pole inspection and treatment, pole restoration, and other utility field crew service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard had, safety vest, work boots, etc.)
Hands-on wood pole inspection including digging, sounding, drilling, measuring, and treating (apply wood preservatives using a variety of hand tools (such as shovels, hammers, drills, etc.)
Utilize equipment to excavate ground material around utility poles.
Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison, to fellow employees.
Operate company vehicle - 4x4, and side-by-side vehicles (if applicable and qualified). Travelling to and working in a variety of settings, from urban to remote.
Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman and following the guidelines and instructions from your supervisors and / or managers.

In order to guarantee long-term employment, must be willing to travel away from home for short and extended periods to various job locations when necessary.
