Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of large-scale client initiatives / programs in mainframe / application modernization
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate project activities with the project team and stakeholders
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders
- Manage project risks and issues and escalate when necessary
- Ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accurate
- Implement Agile processes
- Hands-on technologist in code reviews, code practice, quality design, and architecture
- Driving out the technical requirements of a solution
Requirements
- Strong delivery management skills
- Led teams of + people across multiple locations
- 5+ years of leadership
- Hands-on experience running application engineering / application development
- Expert in understanding the development and agile process
- Highly skilled in Java and Legacy Modernization
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure
- Experience in software delivery
- Hands-on experience as a Delivery / Team Lead, Solution / Enterprise Architect or Delivery Manager
- Experience working in cloud transformation programs
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, Canada 3 days a week
