Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of large-scale client initiatives / programs in mainframe / application modernization
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables
  • Coordinate project activities with the project team and stakeholders
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders
  • Manage project risks and issues and escalate when necessary
  • Ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accurate
  • Implement Agile processes
  • Hands-on technologist in code reviews, code practice, quality design, and architecture
  • Driving out the technical requirements of a solution

Requirements

  • Strong delivery management skills
  • Led teams of + people across multiple locations
  • 5+ years of leadership
  • Hands-on experience running application engineering / application development
  • Expert in understanding the development and agile process
  • Highly skilled in Java and Legacy Modernization
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in software delivery
  • Hands-on experience as a Delivery / Team Lead, Solution / Enterprise Architect or Delivery Manager
  • Experience working in cloud transformation programs
  • Ability to work on-site in Toronto, Canada 3 days a week
