Ensures IT Asset data is maintained and provides quality assurance on inventory of IT Assets. In alignment with new policies and controls, ensures that asset owners adopt industry good practices for the accuracy & completeness in the management of IT Assets.
Ensures quality of hardware asset records within the Asset Management Repository, including Hardware Models, and End-of-Life / Support Data.
Escalates any issues to the Process Owners.
- Identifies requirements to modify Hardware / Software / EOL processes.
- Records and maintains governance tracking.
- Monitors the asset repository for accuracy & consistency & gathers and reports on process metrics.
- Ensures quality of asset Models within the Asset Management Repository, including Software Discovery Models, Software Product Models,
- Monitors and remediates Normalized Asset Models with the ServiceNow Content Library / Vendors.
