The Solution Architect is responsible for managing a set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among various stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend technical / business solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will :
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
- Building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global based systems.
- Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
- Modernizing legacy systems or similar transformational initiatives.
- Author architectural patterns to help assessment teams improve and develop their processes.
- Socialize with larger audiences using reporting, real-time dashboards, and hosting education sessions.
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
- Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have :
- 8+ years of software engineering industry experience
- Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global based systems. Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems or similar transformational initiatives
- Experience with structured Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
- Responsible for the Implementation of a trusted governance model where architecture assessments are automated based on enterprise standards and policies.
- Helping drive the implementation of trusted policies and standards with the help internal teams such as Security, Infrastructure, Data, etc.
- Deployment of a technology solution that will implement the trusted governance framework, policies and workflows.
- Challenge the solution architects way of thinking by implementing architectural design principles to improve the bank’s security, resiliency and technology footprint.
- Continuously research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
- Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented.
- Create designs and reference architectures for enterprise
- Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
- Previous project management experience is an asset
- In-depth understanding of coding languages and logic structures
- Sound knowledge of various operating systems, databases, and technologies
- Efficient communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
