PRINCIPAL FOCUS :
Under the direction of management, the Web Sales Customer Support Associate is responsible for the processing of online sales orders and associated internal and external communication to ensure the efficient and timely processing of online sales while providing the highest level of customer service.
Associates are required to have current and proficient knowledge in areas of video, photography, lighting or drones.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provision of best in class service to customers within the online sales environment to provide the best solution for the customer
- Responding to tickets and phone calls in a timely and thorough manner
- Process online sales orders including batching and related administrative tasks relating to payment options
- Coordinate with other departments such as purchasing, warehouse, other stores etc. to investigate product and shipping status
- Research and validate product conditions, process returns, refunds and exchanges
- Keep personally up to date on products through Visnet and myVistek, seminars, web, discussions with colleagues, networking, membership in associations etc.
- Work on other various projects, tasks and duties as assigned

- Knowledge in photo and video products and equipment, with willingness to obtain product knowledge in virtual environment

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - must be able to multi-task and adapt well to changing priorities
- Competent writing skills (English)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Must be available to work on the weekends.
- 1+ years of retail or e-commerce experience.
- Competent in Microsoft suite, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- Photo and / or Video product knowledge is required
- Previous experience in a call centre is an asset
- Previous work experience in data entry activities is an asset
- Fluency in written and spoken French is an asset
- Previous experience working with third-party market place platforms (i.e. Amazon)
