We are on the search for a warehouse laborer to help support our warehouse operations and back fill delivery / pickup drivers when required.
KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS :
- Process incoming orders by unloading carriers / couriers.
- Inspect the condition of incoming freight and denote damages as required.
- Complete orders in priority sequence and shelve all orders.
- Ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Ensure pick lists are processed in a timely fashion.
- Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
- Pull and fill orders from stock for deliveries ensuring accuracy and labels.
- Puts stock away in their proper locations.
- Load and unload customer vehicles : May need forklift.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.
- Package cores and returns for shipment.
- Inventory cycle counting as per schedule.
- Learn and retain product codes and placement in warehouse.
- Assist Customers and co-workers and all areas of the warehouse as required.
- Provide a high level of customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
- Report all safety concerns, accidents or incidents to supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Deliver / Pick up parts orders as required when back filling Delivery Drivers.
- Cross train where applicable
- Help Maintain Elite Support Certification
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION &
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- Able to lift to 60Lbs.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years driving.
- Clean drivers abstract required.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate department demands.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Able to wear required PPE and stand / walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to operate various equipment (Pallet Jack, Forklift, etc.)
