Our Mississauga client is in the automotive parts sector is looking for a highly organized individual to cover a mat leave and join their purchasing staff in the role of Buyer .
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, be a comfortable user of the Microsoft Suite of applications (especially Excel), as well as possess good spoken and written English skills.
The candidate should have a purchasing certification / education on a university / college level.
Responsibilities :
- Generate and review purchase orders
- Receive goods into stock and reconcile with Purchase Order
- Inventory forecasting by analyzing sales data and market trends
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels across multiple branches
- Conduct price comparison analysis to ensure best pricing
- Manage warranty claims with suppliers
- Manage overseas freight and logistics
- Experience coordinating freight logistics and knowledge of transportation documentation (i.e. Customs, NAFTA, Bill of lading) are assets
Salary : to 60k, with benefits
