Job Description

  • Create detailed drawings such as single-line diagrams, cable routing diagrams, and electrical installation plans using CAD software (, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Collaborate with the Lead Electrical Engineer to integrate project specifications into technical drawings.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and electrical Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Assist in the creation of load calculations and product sizing analyses.
  • Participate in design meetings and provide technical support in drawing and documentation.

Qualifications

  • College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an electrical design technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD; knowledge of electrical-specific software is a plus.
  • Understanding of relevant electrical standards and codes (, Canadian Electrical Code - CEC).
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
