What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities Internal Controls and Due Diligence Group located in Head Office is looking for a Regional Cash Manager to join their team and be a part of the National Internal Controls Support Centre (ICSC).

You will provide superior service along with administrative, risk and operational support to Dominion Securities Branches and employees.

You will oversee daily cash management activities for DS Branches within a specific region in accordance with Internal Controls policies and procedures.

What will you do?

  • Complete administrative and operational tasks to support DS Branches with regards to processing incoming and outgoing cash transactions
  • Perform first level review of transactions to ensure they meet all risk considerations
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries and escalations, and engage the National Branch Operations Manager (or identified escalation contact) as required
  • Analyze, identify and escalate trends for enhanced due diligence
  • Distribute reports in a timely manner
  • Support the DS Branches by communicating effectively, professionally and in a responsive and timely manner.
  • Ensure that internal policies and procedures are distributed, understood, and complied with

Must-have

  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • A professional approach to all situations to create a positive working environment
  • Ability to complete duties independently seeking out own answers and solutions

Nice-to-have

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) is an asset
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset
  • Experience in the securities industry is an asset
