The DCM III will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, guiding, triaging and authorizing claims with the DCMI and DCM II positions.
The DCM III will be responsible for the management of an assigned case load of complex claims.
How you will create impact :
- Assumes responsibility for training once the trainee is released from the formal training program.
- Mentors and coaches’ disability case managers, assisting them with adjudication and managing claims assigned to them.
- Reviews and authorizes decisions made by disability case managers based on a complete understanding of the information and in accordance with claims practices and procedures.
- Identifies problems and provides feedback in a constructive manner.
- Maintain a reduced caseload containing complex claims.
- Resolve escalated calls and / or correspondence on complex claims and / or situations.
- Performs formal appeal and legal consultations.
- Coordinates and leads client conference calls.
- Ensure continuous leadership development, incorporating learning into daily management.

To join our team :
- You have 5 years of disability case management experience.
- You have a post secondary degree in Business Administration, health Sciences or Disability Management.
- You have an Associate, Life and Health Claims (ALHC) designation.
- You have an expert understanding of disability claims management practices.
- You have an expert understanding of group and / or individual disability insurance contracts.
