As a Distributor Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for serving an existing territory in Kamloops and the surrounding area;
Kamloops, North to Williams Lake, Mile House, Clearwater and Barriere, East to Golden and Merritt. Under the leadership of the Sales Director, you will act as a key player in the organization and be held accountable to achieve the annual sales budget.
Key responsibilities :
- Develop new opportunities through cold-calling and expand the customer base through strategic partnerships with salon owners, estheticians and stylists
- Conduct monthly meetings with key accounts
- Take sales orders, build promotions, participate in salon activations and events, provide product knowledge / brand education and social media support to customers as needed
- Partner with new and existing customers to develop strategies designed to help them grow their business
- Analyze and create sales reports and activity reporting
- Processing orders and returns to submit to order desk
Qualifications and skills :
- A competitive spirit and be a highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial attitude
- A strong drive to provide an exceptional customer experience, a willingness that includes doing what is required to expand a territory and help your customers grow, and a desire to learn
- Sales experience of at least 3 years, preferably in a related industry
- Superior organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable utilizing social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
- The ability to perform basic functions on Microsoft Excel
