Our SW Calgary client is looking for an experienced and certified forklift operator to help with several projects! This company values hard work, teamwork and a get-it-done attitude, with a solid track record of safety for their employees!
Responsibilities :
- Loading and unloading heavy products.
- Dismantling heavy shelving units using various hand and power tools.
- Moving and organizing piping into a designated area.
- Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Current forklift certification, with proven proficiency on the Counterbalance forklift.
- 2 - 3 years of warehouse experience.
- Experience loading, unloading, and maneuvering heavy long loads.
- Experience with hand and power tools and willing to dismantle large shelving units.
- Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required.
