What is this opportunity?
Reporting directly to the Regional Vice-President, Private Banking, the Executive Assistant provides administrative support in a one-on-one working relationship.
The Executive Assistant must be organized and flexible; and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that is results-driven and partnership oriented.
Using a high degree of judgment and discretion, you will work independently to prepare correspondence, respond to calls and emails and manage calendars to maximize the Regional Vice-President's time and productivity.
The Executive Assistant will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
What will you do?
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Regional Vice-President including : managing an extremely active calendar of appointments;
- completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is often confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas;
and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners
Plan, coordinate and ensure the Regional Vice-President's schedule is followed and respected.
Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
Work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to, at times, work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have :
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, clients, and external partners
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
Nice-to-have :
University degree ideally in Commerce, Business Administration and / or related experience in the financial services industry
