Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
You will be responsible for nurturing, managing, and growing our relationships with our partner financial institution(s).
You will lead Moneris' goal of using our partner banks to unlock this important competitive advantage. You will do this by managing the run the business (RTB) activities, supporting projects;
while looking for opportunities to increase business growth and ensure stronger collaboration and partnership. You have strong communication and organizational skills and have adeptness to influence with impact.
Location : You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship : You will report to the VP, Business Development.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Develop a deep understanding of the bank partner / Moneris team structure and inter-company operating model.
Funnel incoming and outgoing BAU requests between Moneris and the partner bank promptly, ensuring appropriate partners are engaged and matters are addressed.
Be the trusted advisor to the partner bank, providing insights, guidance, and support across all teams of Moneris.
Address any issues or concerns raised by the partner bank or Moneris while working collaboratively to find solutions and maintain positive relationships.
Use your strategic skills to improve business growth by connecting the data and insights to opportunities to achieve performance.
Work and partner with the SMEs at both organizations on improving the quality and quantity of referrals from the bank, reducing friction in lead handoffs and manage improvements to the inter-company sales boarding process.
Align partnership goals with our teams to ensure visibility, collaboration, and execution of plans.
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may affect our relationship.
Partner and collaborate with the VP, Business Development and Director, Relations FI on partner bank annual referral plans to agree on targets to improve growth and referrals and achieve revenue targets.
Collaborate with the our teams to identify and develop strategic plans for the partner bank, aligning on goals and ensuring mutual success.
Coordinate and facilitate cadenced business reviews by working with the appropriate team members and bank partners to prepare and organize the content.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to the Partner banks.
Work with the Sales Data & Analytics team to ensure partner bank reporting continues to be relevant, driving the right discussions and outcomes to deliver referral and close won performance.
Collaborate with all teams within Moneris to ensure seamless delivery of services, projects, and management of RTB activities related to the partner bank.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
University degree in Business or any related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
5 years of experience in relationship management or a similar role
Experience in payment industry / banking is an ASSET
5 years’ experience FI (Financial institution)
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Experience driving business growth and achieving targets
Strong business acumen with analytical ability to assess the needs to grow the business forward
Ability to influence without direct authority
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
