Reporting to the Housekeeping Leadership Teamresponsibilities and essential job functions include but are notlimited to the following :
- Consistentlyoffers professional engaging and friendlyservice.
- Perform colleague uniform fittings andongoing alterations to ensure all colleagues look professional andcrisp in their uniform.
- Press and / or steamuniforms or other items and sort to their appropriatearea.
- Ensure uniform room is well organized atall times. Logging and filling in uniform informationkeeping an updated uniform inventory file as well as keeping trackof seasonal items.
- Perform minor repair toManagers clothing upon request.
- Performpressing duties and minor repairs to guest items asneeded.
- Receive and review all incomingdrycleaning for guests andcolleagues.
- Receive guest drycleaningfrom outside contract and crossreferencing invoices with a physicalcheck of items received.
- Properly prepare thedrycleaning to be sent back up to each guestroom.
- Perform minor repairs to items inguestrooms or public spaces such as but not limited to curtains andfurniture.
- Make custom pieces for projects asrequired.
- Follow equipment safetyguidelines.
- Adhere to Fairmont Chteau Laurierpolicies procedures andstandards.
Qualifications :
- Universitydegree or equivalent experience.
- Must have aminimum 2 years tailor or seamstress experience in a professionalsetting.
- Schedule flexibility includingevenings / weekends.
- Highly responsible &reliable.
- Ability to work cohesively withfellow colleagues as part of a team with minimumsupervision.
- Must have a minimum 2 yearsseamstress experience in a professionalsetting.
