Computer Numerical Control Programmer

We have an immediate need for a CNC Programmer. The CNC Programmer is responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming the CNC machine, and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specifications are met.

The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience and be able to plan an efficient workflow.

Specific Duties include :

• Utilize Mastercam
• Programming for Mill and Lathe
• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
• Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Training new staff on machine operation procedures.

Qualifications :

• Minimum three years work as a CNC Programmer
• Engineering education a strong asset
• Ability to plan and execute continuous improvement initiatives for maximum efficiency
• Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
• Extensive experience with computer modeling software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline.

This is a permanent position, salary based on experience. (Paid Overtime)
