Our Client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a Contract Basis (2 Months) with a Possibility of Extension!

Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant in Burnaby you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization :
- Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger in a timely manner
- Ensure matching of revenue and cost of goods sold in order to perform margin analysis
- Perform monthly expense review and analysis
- Prepare and review recurring and non-recurring journal entries
- Collaborate with the audit team on internal and external auditing
- Work with the Controller and Leadership to provide appropriate financial management reporting and financial support on strategic projects.
Qualifications
A successful senior accountant in Burnaby will have :
- 5+ years of Full Cycle Accounting Experience
- CPA or Close to CPA Completion
- Experience in fixed asset reconciliations is a STRONG Asset
