Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Providing support to the Controller / C.F.O.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Assisting with annual financial audit
- Preparing ad hoc reports and analyses as required
- Recording accounts payable entries
- Reconciling and recording accounts receivable, and preparing invoices
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Preparing and processing payroll entries
- Filing GST returns
- Filing of accounting records.
Requirements :
- CPA designation
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- A minimum of 3 years of public practice experience working in Canada is preferred
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the company and its employees and clients
- Attention to detail and organized
- Someone who is able to take initiative and ensure tasks are completed fully
- Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the telephone, in person, and via email
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to multitask
The start date is as soon as possible. This position is full-time, 8 : 30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
This is NOT a remote job.
Salary : $75,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualification.
