Job Title : Box Truck Driver
Location : Toronto, ON
PAY RATE : $24-$26 / hour - Based on experience
SHIFT : 8 hours to 12 hours per day (4 days a week including weekends)
SHIFT START TIME : 3 : 00 am - Depending on route.

Job Summary :
The Class 3 D Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers. This role requires professionalism, a strong commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Delivery of the goods and follow all traffic safety regulations and adhere to assigned delivery routes.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling and proper securing of items. May involve heavy lifting upto 50 lbs
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time, maintain efficient routes and adapt to any changes.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels, tires, brakes and lights to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Complete delivery paperwork, log entries and all forms required by the customer. Track mileage, fuel and maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer customer questions and communicate any delivery issues to dispatcher or supervisors.
- Adapt to road challenges such as traffic, construction or road closures to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications :
- 3+ Years Possessing a Valid Canadian AZ, or DZ Commercial Driver’s License
- 3+ Years Recent (Within the Last 5 Years) Delivery Driving Experience in Box Trucks at Least 26’ in Length.
- Experience in delivering goods in the Greater Toronto Area
- Physically fit to handle heavy packages.
- Willing / Able to Work Flexible Hours on Both Weekdays and Weekends
Working Conditions :
- Schedule : Variable hours, may include early mornings or overtime.
- Environment : Primarily on the road, with exposure to various weather conditions.
