Job Summary
The Coffee and Vending Service Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of vending equipment and commercial coffee machines at various client accounts.
They will also responsible for installing and removing machines and equipment as needed. The Technician is required to drive a company provided vehicle - service van or 5-ton truck, therefore must hold a valid Driver's Licence and a clean Driving abstract.
The position involves dealing with clients; handling and access to money, customer oriented and must be able to pass security clearance checks at accounts.
This position is physically demanding. The Technician must be safety conscious and capable of dealing with change and circumstances dictate.
Now, if you were to come on board as a Coffee and Vending Service Technician , we'd ask you to do the following for us :
- Keeps machines functional and operating through continued basic maintenance and cleaning as well as minor repairs to vending equipment and commercial coffee equipment and beverage equipment including but not limited to lightbulb changes, coil changes, unclogging of machines, routine preventative maintenance, etc.
- Knowledge of how to work with plumbing, water lines and electrical
- Performs technical troubleshooting, programming, and installation of various types of equipment.
- Sets up machines for the purpose of improvement to existing equipment.
- Perform service functions such as price changes, machine alterations, changing filter rolls.
- Performs installations and removals of vending equipment, coffee machines and other equipment from locations. Complete and submit removal documents.
Disposes of old equipment approved for disposal.
- Other duties as may be required and assigned by management
- Resolves or reports customer complaints and machine malfunctions.
- Individual will maintain a clean and safe work environment, Individual needs to perform the job safely while adhering to all company safety standards.
