Job Description
ADGA is hiring a Senior Security Specialist with expertise in information security, to support the Enterprise Information Security Classification Initiative (EISCI).
The EISCI is a corporate-wide information security categorization exercise and the Senior Security Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the identification of information assets, understanding the nature of the information OSFI collects and generates as part of its business mandate, and the potential impacts associated with their compromise (such as unauthorized disclosure) and assigning levels of sensitivity to the identified information assets (i.
e., categorizes such as Protected A, Protected B, Protected C, Secret, Top Secret).
Senior Security Specialist will include :
- Assist in the development of a project charter
- Help shape the project plan including tasks and timelines
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that project objectives and deliverables are achieved on time
- Lead discussions
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior officials
- Develop and / or update security policy instruments
- Support change management initiatives including the development of security awareness communications and training materials
Qualifications
- The Senior Security Specialist must have a minimum of 10 years of experience working on Information Security projects.
- The Senior Security Specialist must have, or be eligible for a PWGSC Secret (LVL II) clearance
- The Senior Security Specialist should ideally have experience in the following :
- Assisting in the development of a project charter, project plan including tasks and timelines, project status reports, dashboards and briefing notes
- Engaging and collaborating with key stakeholders to collect, analyse and identify corporate information assets
- Providing guidance and support on the categorization of information, which includes assisting with injury assessments to help information owners determine potential impacts associated with the compromise of information and to identify their sensitivity level
- Preparing and delivering presentations to senior officials regarding information sensitivity and classification
- Documenting and reporting on the approach and results of the exercise
- Developing and / or updating security policy instruments
- Supporting change management initiatives including the development and delivery of security awareness communications and training materials
