Position overview
Reporting to the Director Corporate Systems, BI Digital and Airport Applications, the Manager, Technology Services (Data Governance) is responsible for overseeing and leading the enterprise data governance to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of our data assets while promoting a culture of data-driven decision making.
Key responsibilities include :
- Develop and implement an enterprise data governance strategy, establishing a comprehensive multi-year roadmap to transition the organization from ad-hoc to systematically managed governance.
- Provide expert guidance on the creation of data governance policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring consistent data management practices across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively identify opportunities to enhance data governance practices.
- Lead the conceptualizing, design and implementation of training programs focused on data governance roles and responsibilities and a data literacy program.
- Enforce best practices of data governance throughout the organization, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security of our valuable data assets.
- Oversee the operationalization of data governance, managing people, processes, tools, and projects effectively.
Key qualifications include :
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or business, or a related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in data management or data governance, with a proven track record of managing teams or projects for 3 to 5 years.
- Proficient knowledge of data management, business intelligence and analytical tools, and general data architecture.
- Certifications in technical areas, business analytics or data management are highly regarded.

Salary Range : $, to $, per annum, based on 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity.
Performance-Based Incentive : Eligible for an annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
