Compliance Manager for Food Safety and Quality Assurance [JH-13914]

A reputable food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Compliance Auditor for Food Safety and Quality Assurance in Toronto, ON.

Working closely with the leadership team, the incumbent will manage the entire Audit and FSQA functions at the site, including quality assurance and quality control, and manage all customer, and supplier interactions, including internal, customer audits, and 3rd party audits.

The Role :

  • Participate in the overall planning and oversight of the Quality Management System
  • Manage quality assurance, quality control, and audit activities.
  • Improve Food Safety and Quality standards
  • Manage customer and 3rd party audits and visits.

The Candidate :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology
  • Must have certifications : PCQI BRC v9.0 knowledge, BRC internal auditor certification
  • 10+ years of Quality Assurance Management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to engage with employees at all levels
