A typical day would involve :

  • Develop standards and guidelines for identity management with the IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team that system and application owners must adhere to.
  • Develop, implement and automate role-based access controls in collaboration with other Vancity leaders.
  • Oversee identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management across all systems
  • Coordinate user access audits with the IT GRC and Enterprise Risk Management teams to validate appropriate access is in place.
  • Develop and mentor a team of identity analysts and specialists that manage Identity Access Management and Identity Governance and Administration platforms.
  • Support in building out and executing the long-term roadmap for the Info Security group.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You have :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business or similar
  • 10+ years in a leadership position working with executives, building Information Security Management System (ISMS) programs
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, OAuth, MFA, and PAM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for the role is $102,200 to $153,200 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($127,700) .

The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
