With avariety of residential and commercial projects underway BettsElectric is currently looking to add severalcareeroriented Electricians totheir Kelowna and Pentictonteams.

Theyare looking for experienced Red Seal Certified Electricians to jointheir team. They anticipate offering the successful candidate abase salary of approximately $30$40 / hour dependent upon previousexperience.

Additionally they are happy to consider2

year apprentices with 3000 job hours as well. The salary range forthis position would be $25$30 / hour dependent upon previousexperience.

Inaddition to the base salary our client offers comprehensiveextended health vision & dental care benefits; a retirementsavings plan;

your choice of accruing vacation or having it paidout on each pay; tool allowance; and an hourly pay premium foremployees with active FSR Bcertification.

Thisposition is fulltime at the project site with working hours of 7 : 30am to 4 : 00 pm or 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm Monday to Friday.

The dailyhours may be adjusted based on seasonalrequirements.

Responsibilities :

• Installmaintain and repair electrical systems in residential andcommercialbuildings;
• Readand interpret electrical blueprints schematics anddiagrams;
• Performelectrical wiring conduit installation and circuitry for lightingpower distribution and other electricalsystems;
• Installand connect switches outlets and lightingfixtures;
• Troubleshootelectrical issues and make necessary repairs orreplacements;
• Ensurecompliance with all local and national electrical codes andregulations;
• Workcollaboratively with construction team members to coordinateelectrical installations with othertrades;
• Adhereto safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe workenvironment;
• Keepaccurate records of work performed materials used and time spent onprojects;
• Provideguidance and training to apprentices and junior electricians asneeded;
• Otherduties and responsibilities asrequired.

Requirements :

• RedSeal Construction Electrician designationrequired;
• FieldSafety Representative Class B classification or willingness toobtain ispreferred;
• Experienceas an electrician in the construction industry (residentialcommercial multifamily residence)preferred;
• Strongknowledge of electrical systems andcodes;
• Strongwritten and verbal communicationskills;
• Willingnessto learn and collaborate with teammembers;
• Highlyorganized with the ability to maintain focus and attention todetails;
• Exceptionaltime management skills to meet projectdeadlines;
• Strongproblemsolving and decisionmakingabilities;
• Abilityto work effectively both independently and as part of ateam;
• Validfull driver s license required for projects based in PentictonBC;
• Drivers license not required for projects based in KelownaBC;
• Reliabletransportation to job site (Kelowna) or office (Penticton) isrequired.
