As a Linux / DevOps Engineer you will be an instrumental part of the engineering team and will be the key person keeping all systems operational.

This position will be Hybrid out of our Toronto office.

What You’ll Do :

  • Install, configure and security harden Centos OS Linux
  • Install Apache, configure Vhosts, SSL, modules
  • Install PHP, configure PECL / PEAR libraries, PHP.ini
  • Setup database connectivity to MySQL via UnixODBC and FreeTDS
  • Install and setup Solr, Elasticsearch
  • Install, manage and maintain Redis for RedisCluster
  • Install SupervisorD
  • Install RabbitMQ in HA cluster mode
  • Install and configure Nginx. Install and configure NodeJS, Socket.io, AngularCLI, Forever
  • Deploy and configure software on application servers
  • Deploy IaC through Terraform in Azure
  • Configure IaC of Azure cloud infrastructure using Ansible

What You Have :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Linux / DevOps Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience with Linux System Administration
  • Experience working within the Azure Cloud highly preferred
  • Versed at setting up SystemD processes, Cron jobs, SELINUX, parsing logfiles, configuring logical and physical partitions
  • 2+ years of experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • 1+ years of experience working with CI / CD pipelines
  • Some SQL skills preferred
  • Comfortable with Git / BitBucket
  • Comfortable with proxying, load balancing, sticky sessions, regex, modifying headers, LUA scripting
