Description

TD Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SaaS Security Governance Specialist to join our Public Cloud Security Governance team.

This role will be responsible for integrating security practices and best practices into our SaaS Security Governance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing security solutions to mitigate SaaS Security risks and protect the Bank.

Priorities include : mitigating and managing cyber security threats, ensuring systems availability, aligning with global regulatory risk and compliance requirements, managing systems and network complexity, and partnering with businesses for better technology delivery by providing advice on technology controls.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

SaaS Security Product Owner role :

SaaS Security Product strategy :

o Lead the design and implementation of security strategies for SaaS applications, ensuring robust security controls in line with TD Bank standards.

Product vision and roadmap :

o Define the product vision and create a strategic roadmap for enhancing security features, compliance requirements and emerging SaaS security threats.

Stakeholder management :

o Collaborate with cross-functional TD teams, including LoBs, governance, and engineering (ITS, SecEng etc).

Performance metrics :

o Define OKRs, KPIs and KRIs to measure success of security features, driving continuous improvement.

Agile Product development :

o Work withing TD's scaled agile delivery model to deliver security features, application onboarding, backlog prioritization based on TD's evolving security needs.

Governance and risk management :

o Define and develop SaaS Security standards, governance processes and implement controls to meet TD's internal and external compliance requirements.

REQIRED CORE SKIILS / EXPERIENCE :

University degree

Information security certification / accreditation an asset

10+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of SaaS Security principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with delivery and reporting tools e.g. JIRA, Tableau, Confluence, MSFT Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with SaaS Security Posture Management tooling (e.g., AppOmni).
  • Knowledge of SaaS security best practices and technologies.
  • Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize information from a multitude of resources and compile all relevant information clearly and comprehensively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on SaaS security.
  • Experience in a financial services environment is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCSP, AWS / Azure Security Specialty, or similar are highly desirable.
