Regional Operations Manager (ROM)

The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of multiple branches or locations within the Eastern Region (Montreal &

Ottawa). This role involves developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, improve performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

This position you will require a strong personality with a good understanding of logistics. A background in transportation as well as excellent communication and computer skills are a must.

Primary areas of responsibility will be but are not limited to the following :

  • Keep your regional terminals running efficiently and profitably
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to drive improvements and achieve operational goals
  • Develop and execute regional strategies to meet company objectives and expand market presence
  • Collaborate with senior management to align regional goals with overall company strategy
  • Oversee budgeting and financial performance for the region, ensuring adherence to financial targets
  • Assist with dispatch support and routing
  • Understand the sortation process
  • Build relationships with terminal managers
  • Assist with driver issues when necessary

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a multi-location environment
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and metrics
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices

This position is for busy, fast paced terminals that run 5 to 7 days a week.
