Ourmachinery & equipment department is looking for anEquipmentMaintenance superintendant on site whos responsible forthe implementation and assurance of preventive maintenance programsand the repairs of EBC equipment.
The selected candidate will beassigned to the Stanley Park project and will ensure that theobjectives planned for his sector of activity are met whilecontrolling costs in accordance with the directives as well as ISOand health and safety program procedures.
Finally the person willalso supervise a group of mechanics and maintenancestaff.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the coordination of equipment maintenance and repairswithin established deadlines to optimize site productivity ;
- Supervises work assignments to achieveproduction objectives whilerespecting the quality and health and safety standards of themaintenance department ;
- Manages their staff by ensuring that activities are carried out ina safe and healthy environment and that policies and procedures are followed ;
- Ensures communication between site operations and maintenance department;
- Participates in hiring processes and coordinates the workschedules of maintenance employees ;
- Ensures that equipment complieswith applicable laws and standards ;
Works with existing business systems and processes of thedepartment and able to use and integrate new technologies .
Requirements
Requirements
- Heavy equipmentmechanic certification (redseal ) or any equivalent;
- M inimum of 5years of experience in a s upervisory position;
- K nowledge ofconstruction regulations;
K nowledge ofMicrosoft office suite such as Excel WordOutlook CMMS .

- Able to work under pressure;
- Interpersonal relationships;
