Reporting to the Director of Communications, this position provides administrative and operational support for our business development activities in Canada and the United States.
The role is offered as an employee position based on-site at our location in Victoria and / or Vancouver.

About the Role :
As a Proposal and Business Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our business development efforts and enhancing our marketing strategies as a member of a collaborative and passionate team working on projects and with clients around the world.
Your primary focus will be responsibility for project management and coordination of proposals (RFQs, RFPs, fee letters, etc.
characterized by strategic research, compelling writing, graphic design skills, all driven by a business strategy developed in partnership with the Principals and Director of Communications.
Responsibilities :
- Track leads in our CRM platform (CMAP)
- Identify projects through various channels
- Create and lead proposals
- Ensure timely, high-quality proposal submissions and presentations
- Develop and update marketing and sales materials
- Assist with marketing and communications projects and events
- Contribute to team efforts and help with tasks as needed
About You :
- Strong understanding of the Architecture and / or Interior Design industry
- Bachelor's degree coupled with at least 2-3 years in Business Development, Marketing or in a similar capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skill to oversee multiple projects
- Excellent organizational skills Previous experience with InDesign
