Position : DevOps Security Engineer

This role is within a dynamic security agile squad focused on Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) and cloud adoption; responsibilities include :

Automating on-prem infrastructure processes to implement / enhance DLP controls

Enhancing DevOps practices within the squad including Infrastructure as Code, test automation, CI / CD, etc.

Managing a global DLP security infrastructure and working with an array of security products such as Symantec DLP, Splunk, Microsoft Information Protection, Netskope

Working with a range of risk teams to understand and implement security requirements

Handling operational escalations and managing production incidents during on-call support.

Technical Skills

Must Have :

Scripting : Python, PowerShell or similar

DevOps : Git, CI / CD Pipeline, Test Automation

OS Administration : Linux Enterprise Server, Windows Server

Networking : network configuration and debugging. Familiarity with SMTP Protocol and mailing security practices. Familiarity with HTTP and web security practices

Security Practices : Knowledge of critical cyber security controls. Knowledge of Authentication protocols and Encryption protocols

Application Support : experience on a unix platform OR Unix System administration experience who is looking to move into Application Support.

Would Be Nice :

Orchestration : Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes

Database : Oracle, MSSQL, SQLite

Data Handling : Splunk, Microsoft Dynamics, Hive, Archer

Professional Skills

Experience working within Agile teams

Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL)

Self-starter with proven & demonstratable experience in technical & application support of enterprise systems

Ability to quickly learn and understand proprietary technologies in a complex, regulated environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.
