Who we need
Emphasys, an Aquila company since 2008, is the largest full-service provider to serve the public housing, housing finance, and redevelopment marketplace.
We are looking for a Delphi Software Developer to play a critical technical role, contributing to the modernization of our product from infrastructure to interface, and building enhancements and customizations to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers.

What you will focus on :
Provide technical expertise. You work alongside the team, contributing to the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of our software solutions as we take on an end-to-end upgrade.
You will respond to changing government regulations that differ from state to state and require customizations to maintain compliance.
- Continuously improve. You will analyze and strengthen existing applications for reliability, availability, security, and scalability, elevating development standards and processes, and diagnosing issues to determine - and solve - the root cause.
- Collaborate. You will be an active contributor on a fast-moving, responsive team, participating or leading Daily SCRUM, Stand-Ups, User Story Reviews and Sprint retrospectives.
You will be a point of contact for emergency on-call support.
What you bring :
Experience. You have 5+ years of experience as a full Stack Developer in an Agile Scrum or Lean Software Development environment, following Test-Driven Development or Extreme Programming methodologies.
You have familiarity with continuous integration / deployment and zero downtime deployment. You have worked as a senior or lead Delphi developer on enterprise projects.
In addition, you have experience with :
- Delphi.
- SQL Server Databases and Stored Procedures.
- Implementing OOP design patterns.
- Consuming modern APIs.
- Interpersonal skills. You have flexible and effective communications skills and you can build impactful working relationships within and across inter-disciplinary groups, including architects, product, and management.
You have a deep appreciation for diverse opinions and approaches.
